THE GREAT NOTHING
THE GREAT NOTHING
Were we “best in covid?” Who had a plan: humanity or the virus? The film crew of Vít Klusák (Caught in the Net) and Marika Pecháčková took to the empty streets in the spring of 2020 and spent two years following the reactions of Czech society to the covid-19 pandemic in the face of government regulations. In the documentary tragicomedy The Great Nothing, the filmmakers collected powerful stories of people from different backgrounds, capturing bizarre images of the crisis to create an absurdly funny account of our society.
