The Košice Marathon tells the story of a small town in Central Europe, about the marathon, marathoners, but also about ordinary people running for freedom or running away from disaster. They are running to overcome space faster and to outrun time. The stories of individuals are intertwined in the century-long picture of the history of Košice and Central Europe that frames the International Peace Marathon.

The Košice Marathon is originally a local event whose significance has grown beyond the borders of the country. The aim of our work is that our project should also be in this spirit, so that we can convey an understandable message to a wide audience through local stories and attract attention at international festivals.
